Models are a continuous problem, as different body shapes are needed for different sculptures.
Well that could not be more relevant with this particular fantasy sculpture. Finding somebody that was definitely fat (but in the right way) for the sculpture was amusing, as I had to ask the models over the phone to describe their particular type of body shape.
Luckily nobody was too offended and I got the perfect model in the end. The nature of my work means that the models all have to have a good sense of humour and not mind the final outcome of the sculpture.
I wish the same could be said of the dinosaur who turned out to be a right Prima Donna!.
